Laboratory approved by competent authority for asbestos fiber analysis (CM-ALA-No. 1).
Laboratories accredited under ISO 17025 for the analysis of asbestos fibers with optical and electron microscopy (TEM) in ambient air, materials, soil and water.
Laboratory approved by the competent authority for the analysis of asbestos fibers and other fibers.
Specialized laboratory for counting asbestos fibers, approved by the Regional Institute of Occupational Safety and Health of the Community of Madrid, after receiving a favorable report from the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Hygiene.
Accredited laboratory for the analysis of asbestos fibers in AIR samples.
- Laboratory accredited under standard 17025
- Analysis by phase contrast microscopy and/or transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The presence of asbestos fibers in filters and wipes is detected.
- Technique adapted to French standards.
- The type of fiber and the presence in volume are determined.
Accredited laboratory for the analysis of asbestos fibers in MATERIALS
- Laboratory accredited under ISO 17025
- The first phase is analyzed by optical microscopy, systematically separating the different layers of the material, if any. Each layer of this material is analyzed as independent samples by transmission electron microscopy (TEM), accredited under ISO 17025.
- The qualitative analysis technique allows the detection of asbestos fibers in materials, with a detection threshold of 0.1% by mass, guaranteed in our network of laboratories.
Laboratory specializing in the analysis of asbestos fibers in WATERS
- Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) analysis of the presence of asbestos fibers according to NFX 43-050 standard.
- Includes fibers of length greater than 5 microns, width less than 3 microns and a length/width ratio greater than 3.
Accredited laboratory for analysis of asbestos fibers in SOILS
- Laboratory accredited under ISO 17025
- Analysis of fiber type and volume of each fiber under ISO 17025 accreditation.
- Our qualitative analyses help you comply with local regulations regarding the percentage content of asbestos by mass.
Complementary analysis of asbestos fibers in ADHESIVE STRIPS AND WIPES
- Analysis by phase contrast microscopy and/or transmission electron microscopy (TEM).
- Technique adapted to French standards.
- The type of fiber and the presence in volume are determined.
Why is it necessary to
determination of the presence
of asbestos fibers?
- The presence of asbestos fibers can pose a significant risk to the health of people and the ecosystem.
- The exposure of workers to asbestos is regulated by Royal Decree 396/2006. The determination of asbestos fibers in air is necessary to evaluate occupational exposures and to have objective criteria to judge the suitability of work procedures and the effectiveness of prevention and control measures, especially for companies engaged in asbestos removal and prevention services that monitor workers exposed to asbestos.
- All work activities must ensure that workers are not exposed to asbestos fibers.
- The new waste law 7/2022, in its fourteenth additional provision, states that all public administrations must draw up a census of facilities and sites with asbestos.
- Asbestos-containing material must be treated as special waste. Materials suspected of containing asbestos should be analyzed.
- Any dismantling work where the presence of asbestos is suspected must have a work plan drawn up that includes asbestos removal.
Technology and Equipment.
Experience.
We have 12 specific laboratories for asbestos analysis in the Eurofins group, each of them with a production capacity of thousands of samples per day for the detection of asbestos fibers, with the experience and trajectory of several years in the pioneering and most powerful markets worldwide in the detection and analysis of asbestos.
We have phase contrast microscopes and transmission electron microscopes (TEM) available to the Spanish market, with the latest technology. In addition, our customers have at their disposal the possibility of requesting urgent analysis with results within a few hours from the receipt of the sample.
